Update on Aaron

I just found out that they say that he has a growth in his lung.  They do not know if it is a malignant or benign tumor. They will know something in a day or two. Please continue to pray. They are in room number 451 at the Atrium Hospital in Middletown, Ohio.

Please continue praying. The latest news is that it is a 50% chance that the growth is cancerous. The results will be in on Monday, Lord willing! Please continue to pray.

He will be released from the hospital later today and return on Monday for the results.

Latest Update on Aaron from Austin Gardner

They are in the Atrium hospital in Middletown, Ohio. We just got off the phone with his wife. All the tests from last night were positive and so very good. They did cat scans and other tests and all other organs are in good shape. The lymph nodes are in good shape.

The lung is the only problem. The entire bottom lobe of the right lung is collapsed and filled with some sort of fluid. They are not sure if it is pus or blood.

Right now they have put him to sleep so that they can send the scope in to check out his lung. We should have a report soon.

Thank you for praying.

Pray for our Friends from North Africa

Many of you have met my good friend from college, Aaron.  I cannot mention all of his name because of his work in North Africa, but I wanted to ask you to be in special prayer for him.

I am not sure what is wrong but he has had a problem with his lungs for the past year.  He has just battled through for the last year, but things got so serious that they flew home yesterday to Cincinnati, OH to get immediate medical attention.  Aaron is one of my closest friends, and I am very concerned about him right now, so please be much in prayer.

Here is an update from Austin Gardner giving the lastest news.

We got a call last night from J, the wife, at 11:30. The husband was having test after test room all afternoon and night. She said that they had done more in one evening than would have been done in North Africa in a month. She was very tired obviously from the travel and no sleep.

The children are with her family and she was at the hospital as much as she could be. Though she did have to run errands to meet her husband’s needs and cravings.

They have run several tests and can not figure out what is happening. There are more tests taking place this morning. I was promised a call and will immediately post when I hear something.

Some of you may have later or better news than I do so if you do please be sure and add it in the comment section if you would.

To be honest with you I feel like we need to be specially praying. Something is wrong. They kept him at the hospital even when he was so exhausted after all the travel. They put him through a battery of tests. They do not know what it is or what to do.

Pray that God would give them wisdom. Pray that God would direct the doctors, touch his body, heal him and get him back into the work soon.

God bless each of you that have been so kind to comment and to call asking. They delight in knowing that you love them and are so concerned.
