Sunday Night Report
God was so good to us today in our services. We had a tremendous time in all the services today. This morning, we looked at Joshua 21 about “Provisions for the Men of God” and this evening, we looked at Joshua 22 and “How to Serve God in a Time of Peace and Prosperity.” In the evening, we were hoping to speak with our missionary Evan Williams via skype but he lost all electricity, so we will have to postpone this interview.
I must admit that I am very tired and my throat feels spent. After speaking 5 times in one day, being on the road for 3 hours, and doing all the things in between with kids, study, collecting people, organising, it makes for a very long day, but I love every minute of it! Some times I get frustrated and complain, but then to be truthful I would not have it any other way. As many of you know, we are expecting another baby next summer sometime, so Teri is not able to go with me to all the services and does not have the energy to do as much as she normally does. I know that I have taken her for granted and not realised how much she does. There is a definite void when she is not as involved as before. Please be in prayer for her and for the health of this baby on the way.
Tomorrow, I am travelling to Dublin to meet with some other Independent Baptist pastors about a project to mail the gospel to every home in Ireland. I am looking forward to the meeting. Please pray for the trip with will take about 3.5 hours one way.
